Locums Hematology and Oncology Physician in Missouri - Two Weeks Per Month

Hematology and Oncology Physician locums opportunity in Joplin, Missouri, offering flexible two-week blocks with light call.

Highlights

• Two weeks per month minimum
• Mix of clinic and inpatient coverage
• Light weeknight and weekend call

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based cancer center
• Adult patient population
• Two full-time physicians and two APPs onsite
• Advanced oncology technology including robotic surgery

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM clinic
• 24-hour weekend call one to two weekends per month
• Limited weeknight call with 1 to 2 calls per night on average
• Full-time blocks also available

Cases and Procedures

• 40/60 Hematology to Medical Oncology mix
• 15 to 23 clinic patients per day
• Consults and follow-ups
• Bone marrow biopsies preferred

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology and Oncology Physician
• Active Missouri license or willing to obtain
• ACLS, BLS, and ATLS
