Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
• Manage a patient panel in the absence of a full-time physician
• No procedures required; focus on patient care
• Team includes 3 MDs and 3 APPs

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
• 1:5 weeknight call rotation, minimal call-backs
• 24-hour weekend call, either Saturday or Sunday
• Full-time commitment preferred

Cases and Procedures

• 40% Hematology, 60% Oncology
• 1-2 new patients per day, up to 20 patients daily
• Work with 12 infusion chairs
• PA manages inpatients, contacts physician as needed

Requirements

• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• New York state licensure required
